I bought this book because I'm really getting into the idea of Metabolomics and hoping to branch into it somewhere down the line.I've been away from university science for some time and wasn't sure what I've been missing in terms of advancements and how the current technology I use may bleed into it.I found the book to be helpful. Its kinda a specialized book but the format is one more of bringing together research papers into a small volume of work where you have the opportunity to read the many different techniques and protocols in detail based upon a protocol developed in a lab.Its not a book really meant for those who are just beginning to get involved in metabolomics and the significance of it... nor is it good for someone who has limited experience in laboratory research before.Its not a bad book, but you may find other books out there to be more appetizing.
