Love the concept, and the fact that so many of the parks were Ohio ones. But the most of the pictures are just TOO DARK! To be more accurate, this book should have just been titled "Miserable Weather." These abandoned amusement parks are creepy even in the sun! And bonus----we'd actually be able to see them. Shame on Amazon, too, for providing only the front part of a book for the preview. Limiting the previews to the first several pages just doesn't cut it for books of photography, recipes, activities, etc.
Just bought this book and it it absolutely fascinating to look at the pictures of the amusement parks especially since I had visited them growing up!!! Great memories
I wanted to love this book, but the quality of a lot of these pictures is just not there. I found most of the pictures to be interesting but the unfocused and muddy look of a lot of the photos just kept frustrating me one after another. I also received the cover slip for the book ripped which honestly wouldn't of bothered me so much if the book contained better quality photos. I can't recommend this book to others when I've purchased better Photography books on abandon places.
Content is ok. Wish it told more about the parks and the location of each picture.Not familiar with this publisher but the binding of the book is TERRIBLE!!
Received Seph's book todaynd was immediately infatuated with the images. The gradual transition of these abandoned theme parks from what people are accustomed to seeing into theme wastlands was captured so well. The book itself is beautifully bound and presented. Nice job Seph.
I've always loved reading Seph's books and looking at his photos. I highly recommend buying this book!! The pictures are amazing!
